The Location

The popular seaside destination of Elie boasts one of the finest sandy beaches in Scotland. Sailing and water sports are available at Elie Harbour, and there is an 18 hole golf course, and a 9 hole course suitable for beginners. Elie Sports Club offers golf practice facilities, several hard tennis courts, new Paddle tennis courts and a bowling green. Elie is well served by local shops which include Barnett's Bakery, The Elie Deli, Elie Newsagents and Davidson's Chemist, pubs, restaurants and cafés including the renowned Ship Inn and the 19th Hole. Other recreational opportunities include horse riding, with the Fife Pony Club for younger enthusiasts.
