A barn wedding with views over the Forth
Pratis Barns is an exclusive-use barn venue set in around 30 acres near Leven, with views across the Firth of Forth. It hosts weddings of up to around 200 guests, with separate spaces for the ceremony, drinks and the reception.
Pratis House on site sleeps around 15, so most guests stay nearby. Lower Largo is the closest of our villages: a quiet seaside village with a sandy bay, a harbour inn and the Fife Coastal Path on the doorstep.

When East Fife Holiday Homes joined the Short Stay family in 2025, we kept what guests loved about it: the Elie office, hands-on local service and a carefully chosen collection of homes across the East Neuk.

Pratis House sleeps around 15, usually the couple and wedding party. Other guests stay nearby in Lower Largo or along the coast.
Can a group of friends stay together?
Yes. Appleton House in Lower Largo sleeps 9, and Kingsmuir in Elie sleeps 11. For more than one home, contact our team.
Can I bring my dog?
Many of our homes welcome dogs. Each home’s page says whether pets are allowed.
How do I get back from the wedding?
Taxis in the area are limited, so book well ahead of the day, or check whether the couple has arranged transport.
